Live a Life

Fallen leaves that dance in the wind and scatter
I laugh and turn away
I wouldn’t have noticed the golden pile of leaves if I didn’t sometimes look back on the road I traveled

Holding treasures ready to spill over against my chest
I now quickly start walking towards the city where white sighs frolic

As if to comfort my numb hands, I tell myself that I will soon be at your house
As I stare out across the town embracing my coffee from the corner of the buzzing street

A blue that colors the freezing building breeze
A red that makes one desire for company of others
And the shimmering illumination

The long-awaited Saturday evening. Glasses lined up
A prism that plays and dances in the poured champagne

Surrounded by yellow-green and orange-colored LED
In a quiet darkness
I sleep enveloped in happiness with a sense of having found nourishment for living
26 o’clock - I think I realized the meaning of the days

Listening carefully to the clear sound of the bells ringing in the small town
When at one point I looked back at the life I traveled the treasure that I once found - a golden shine - was looking at me
The cold air flushed my cheeks as I muttered…I will never let this go again

Cheeks flushed by dry wind
